Kids Fashion Show: Twin magic

Kids Fashion Show: Twin magic

Payton and Paris share such a strong bond it's undeniable. They don’t need to say much to each other, you can tell they trust one another and want to be in each other’s presence while maintaining their independence.

Payton is very decisive. As soon as she saw that shrug, she knew she wanted to wear it. Paris, too blew me away. Just like her name, she is sweet and has the ability to create her own magic; she is loving, charming and adventurous. Paris has autism and that didn’t stop her from being as excited about the show as were the other kids.

Although their mom and I were excited at the idea of having the girls participate for the 1st time in a Fashion show, she wanted to make sure that the entire flow of the show wasn’t compromised  and her girls were feeling comfortable as well. As parents, we are our children's first champions. They look up to us to find strength and confidence. I saw strength, dignity and felt nothing but admiration.

One step closer

One step closer

when you have an idea or a vision, you will also have more than one compelling reason why you shouldn’t do it ...
Ask God for directions, for strength and perseverance. Once you are confident that He’s holding your hands just jump; don’t look back, don’t look sideways just jump because if you wait 1 second too long your dream will die before it even sees daylight.
Don’t assume it will be easy because God is in it. Be ready to face obstacles, challenges...It’s all part of the journey. Be grateful for the people you meet along the way and the one who leave you as well as they have accomplished their mission.

Outlook on Fairyma

How do we define Fairyma?

To define it will be to put it in a box and I’d like for people to perceive Fairyma beyond the world of fashion. Indeed, we seek to convey the beauty of the prints and the stories of love and unity but we mainly strive for our clients to experience something unique and almost magical.

That’s why for every item we design we pray for the hands that will receive it because we believe in the power of prayer. We always pray that whether it’s a blanket, a piece of clothing or a changing mat, it will bring joy, peace, love and healing to those precious children and parents to whom its destined.

Love your skin: Cacao Butter

Love your skin: Cacao Butter

I am always filled with joy and pride every time I read that Cote d'ivoire, the country in which I was born and raised, supplies 30 percent of the world’s total cocoa, leading the rest of the world. 😊

Rich in vitamins A, B, C, E, in minerals (iron, calcium, copper, magnesium), cacao butter has nourishing, softening, repairing and anti-cellulite properties. It prevents premature aging of the skin and promotes cell development.

In Africa, women use cacao butter during and after pregnancy for massage to prevent the appearance of stretch marks. Indeed, a massage with cocoa butter on the belly and thighs will help to keep the elasticity of the skin and to moisturize it deeply, and thus to avoid the appearance of stretch marks.

Love yourself, love your skin!!!

Free at last!

Free at last!

...not everybody will feel comfortable back carrying despite its numerous benefits. And that’s why Fairyma offers the baby sling as a great alternative. It’s very practical, easy and quick to install and remove. It must, however, be well adjusted to be comfortable, in particular because of the asymmetry. Simply adjust by pulling or releasing the tail through the rings...

When you carry your baby, you convey a feeling of well-being, safety, warmth that no cradle or stroller can bring. It is a unique experience that allows him to discover the world in your arms. It helps him feel safe and reassured.

...with the sling you will not hear baby cry because she knows you are right there, she perceives your breathing and the sound of your voice and it’s all calming. Plus, don’t you enjoy walking around both hands free? Leave that stroller in the car, enjoy a walk in the park or around the neighborhood with your original Fairyma African Baby sling.

"YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD”

...We used to take time to appreciate everything ELSE, we used to stop to enjoy nature, people, simple stories, go on adventures just to be with someone ELSE.

When did ELSE become SELF?

Many people, today, do not care about creating deep, meaningful, long-lasting relationships; it’s all so superficial. We have lost the meaning of society, community, brotherhood; the basic notions that used to keep us TOGETHER.

But, you, Precious baby when I tell you to shine", I want you to be the light that you were created to be. Seek to make a difference in someone ELSE's life, bring a smile on someone ELSE’s face, take the time to listen to someone ELSE, take a beautiful picture of someone ELSE, care for someone ELSE.

A lamp does not ever shine for itself; it shines for others to see.

Shea butter: A raw Treasure

Shea butter: A raw Treasure

"Among all the treasures one may find in Africa, Shea butter is certainly one with its countless virtues".

It soothes, protects, nourishes and softens the skin, which helps keep it young and healthy. It combats wrinkles, dryness. It is used to prevent the appearance of stretch marks and strengthen the elasticity of the skin and is considered as one of the most natural treatments to relieve those pregnancy’ stretch marks.

Indeed, the cream of Shea butter will considerably attenuate them, reduce them in size. This will make them virtually invisible and give you greater confidence.

Shea butter is not just for adults, you can also use it for baby’s delicate skin to prevent and heal irritations.
